The Height of Courage

During the shooting of movie "A bridge too far", Anthony Hopkins, who was playing John Frost, British Paratrooper commander at the bridge of Arnhem, had to cross a street under heavy German fire. When he naturally crouched while running, the real John Frost, who was present as an advisor, shouted:
"Stop, stop, stop! I would never have crossed other than at my full height!"
In the final version of the movie, Hopkins is crouching anyway - because the director did not want to make the movie seem unrealistic.
