Great Moments in Sports History

For those of you who have been wondering about this blog's "inexplicable preference for Alemannia Aachen" - it's (almost) all in the below picture.

Okay, I agree that we have a common enemy there. Maybe it's not just coincidence that Bayern played a friendly match at Teheran only a few days ago -- they're a centrepiece of the axis of evil!

Actually, my sense of joy does not derive from hostility towards Bayern - but rather from my deeply felt respect for Germany's best and most successful soccer club. To beat the best - that's the ultimate achievement!
